In the past, large rocks in the forest were thought to be places where the power of life resided. The water gushing out from the rocks becomes a small river that fills the rice paddies and grows the rice that is our food. Water is the basic element and symbol of life. People have been visiting the forest, tending the trees, and praying to the rocks in order to give thanks and start the next cycle. (unlettered design website)
